*LOVING GOD*: Loving God involves surrendering our whole selves to God in worship, and interacting with Him in such a way that we progressively become the people that He intends for us to be. Worship is the obedient response to who God has revealed himself to be in Jesus our Lord. Worship is the driving purpose of our lives, and is the foundational reason for human existence. ~WE WERE CREATED TO LOVE GOD~.
*LOVING PEOPLE*: The more we discover who God is and the more we yield ourselves to Him, the more we realize that we are to intentionally and intensely love people. Loving relationships lie at the heart of worshipping God and are a critical aspect of following Him. Loving people involves recognizing the value and beauty in each person honoring the image of God that each person bears, and holding the needs of each person as equal to those of ourselves. The greatest and most fundamental need in the life of each person is the need of reconciliation with the Creator, and Jesus our Savior has provided that reconciliation and has given us the joyful responsibility of sharing this Good News with every human being. ~WE WERE CREATED TO LOVE PEOPLE~.
*SERVING THE WORLD*: Because of mankind's rebellion against its Creator, sin entered the world and has resulted in the present state of imperfection that we find ourselves in. Signs of this fall are all around us: death, greed, injustice, selfishness, and all matter of evil manifested in many ways. As our love for God and for other people grows more and more complete, we will begin to share with Jesus our King the holy desire to see all of creation restored to the way of living that was originally intended. This restoration began with the Resurrection of Jesus, and we as His followers have been invited to participate in the progressive reclamation of all things by the love and grace of our Holy God, while looking forward to the final culmination when Christ will make all things new. For this reason, we commit ourselves to living out the story of the Resurrection of Jesus by emptying ourselves in service to others through helping to meet their physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual needs. ~WE WERE CREATED TO SERVE THE WORLD~.
